Harrison, Walker & Harper in Paris, TX is seeking a skilled Mechanical Estimator to prepare accurate cost estimates for HVAC, plumbing, piping and process mechanical systems. The role reviews construction documents, performs detailed quantity takeoffs, and develops bid proposals.

The Mechanical Estimator works closely with project managers, operations, vendors, and clients to ensure estimates are complete and aligned with project requirements. Competitive salary and benefits available.

Responsibilities

• Review project plans, specifications, and contract documents to determine project scope.
• Perform detailed quantity takeoffs for mechanical systems including HVAC, plumbing, piping, and associated equipment.
• Develop accurate labor, material, equipment, and subcontractor cost estimates.
• Solicit and evaluate vendor and subcontractor quotations.
• Prepare complete bid proposals and estimate summaries.
• Identify value engineering opportunities and cost-saving alternatives.
• Attend pre-bid meetings, site visits, and project walkthroughs as required.
