Job summary

Harrison, Walker & Harper is seeking a Mechanical Estimator to join our Paris, TX team. The role focuses on preparing accurate cost estimates for mechanical construction projects, including HVAC, plumbing, piping, and process systems.

• Strong understanding of construction documents and specifications.
• Proficient in take-offs and scope analysis.
• Organized, detail-oriented, and team-focused.

Responsibilities

• Review project plans, specifications, and contract documents to determine project scope.
• Perform detailed quantity takeoffs for mechanical systems including HVAC, plumbing, piping, and associated equipment.
• Develop accurate labor, material, equipment, and subcontractor cost estimates.
• Solicit and evaluate vendor and subcontractor quotations.
• Prepare complete bid proposals and estimate summaries.
• Identify value engineering opportunities and cost-saving alternatives.
• Attend pre-bid meetings, site visits, and project walkthroughs as required.
