gpac LLC is seeking a results-oriented Commercial HVAC Estimator in New Jersey with progressive estimating experience in mechanical construction. The firm delivers HVAC, refrigeration, chilled water, controls, sheet metal, and full lifecycle mechanical services for commercial, healthcare, industrial, hospitality and institutional clients.

You will lead takeoffs, prepare bid packages, review plans, and evaluate subcontractor pricing, with opportunities for growth and advancement in a stable,

Qualifications

• 3-5+ years commercial HVAC estimating experience.
• Proficiency reading blueprints, specifications, and mechanical details.
• Familiarity with HVAC equipment, chillers, rooftop units, pumps, VAV/controls, and piping systems.
• Strong analytical skills, organized documentation, and estimating software literacy (Trimble & Quick Pen).
• Coachable, detail-oriented, team-focused.

• Prepare complete bid packages for new construction and remodel contracts ($100K-$4M+).
• Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and vendor pricing.
• Identify value-engineering opportunities while protecting margin.
• Work with leadership to refine pricing assumptions and model historical data.

We are seeking a results-oriented Commercial HVAC Estimator with progressive estimating experience in mechanical construction. Join a respected New Jersey contractor with 20+ years delivering HVAC, refrigeration, chilled water, controls, sheet metal, and full lifecycle mechanical services for commercial, healthcare, industrial, hospitality and institutional clients.

What You Will Do

• Lead quantity takeoffs, detailed cost builds, and line-item assemblies for commercial HVAC and mechanical scopes
