Job summary

Jobtailor in Newton, MA is seeking a Mechanical Estimator to prepare detailed HVAC and plumbing estimates based on plans, specs, and site conditions, and to perform takeoffs for residential and light commercial projects.

You will develop budgets including labor, materials, and equipment, work with sales on proposals, and coordinate with project managers to reflect installation realities. Strong Excel and plan-reading skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in mechanical estimating, project management, or field operations.
• Strong understanding of HVAC and plumbing systems, read plans, strong Excel skills, and attention to detail.
• Will consider 1+ year of strong experience if specifically in HVAC and Plumbing field.
