Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field required.
  • 3+ years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination.
  • Experience with mechanical design, fabrication and testing.
  • Familiarity with CAD/CAM tools and manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and execute technical projects with faculty and staff.
  • Coordinate lab and field activities including testing, fabrication, and machining.
  • Integrate mechanical, electrical, and computer systems into manufacturing processes.
  • Contribute to proposals, white papers, and project documentation.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to meet program goals.
  • May oversee lower-level engineering staff and mentor teammates.
