Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories seeks a Mechanical Engineering Technician I for the Post Falls, ID facility. The role supports mechanical solutions for safer and more economical manufacturing, with hands-on CAD work, basic pneumatics and electronics, and collaboration with a small agile team.

You will contribute to design reviews, turn concepts into real-world production applications, and help ensure reliability while growing technical skills.

Formación

• 2-year+ technical degree or the equivalent combination of training and work experience.
• Competence with applied physics, geometry, algebra, and basic trigonometry.
• CAD experience.

Responsabilidades

• Hands-on design work and problem solving with customers.
• Collaborate on problem statements, solution integration and project closure.
• Develop mechanical solutions to improve safety, reliability, and economy of production.
• Use CAD tools and SolidWorks analysis methods to bring concepts to life on the production floor.
• Participate in design reviews and provide/receive feedback.
• Contribute as part of a small agile team, delivering on time and within budget.
