Job summary

MillenniumSoft Inc. is seeking an Engineering Technician for a 12-month contract in San Jose, CA. The role is a 1st shift, 40 hours per week, on W2 with a medical devices client.

Ideal candidates hold an AS degree or equivalent experience in electrical/mechanical work with troubleshooting skills and at least 2+ years in a device manufacturing environment. SolidWorks knowledge is a plus and Excel proficiency is required.

Responsibilities

• Build, test and troubleshoot electrical/electronic circuitry and other systems used in finished equipment or prototypes.
• Demonstrates understanding of electronic and electromechanical systems.
• Assembles prototype devices and systems.
• Fabricates electronic and electromechanical test fixtures.
• Sets up data equipment to capture test data.
• Performs basic statistical analysis of results.
• Investigates, analyzes, repairs, and documents component or system level failures.
• Works with SOPs and adheres to quality guidelines.

• 2+ years’ experience manufacturing assembly (working in a device manufacturing environment) with electrical and mechanical troubleshooting experience

• Demonstrates working understanding of electronic and electromechanical systems.
• Demonstrates working understanding of a variety of laboratory test equipment.

• Able to execute pre-defined subsystem/system qualification protocols with moderate supervision.
• Sets up data equipment to capture test data.
• Performs basic statistical analysis of results. Investigates, analyzes, repairs, and documents component or system level failures.
• Works within established SOPs and / or scientific methods and adheres to quality guidelines.
• Works with a moderate degree of supervision.
