Job summary

IMEG Corporation is seeking a Mechanical Engineering New Graduate in Seattle, WA. This entry-level role offers mentorship, hands-on design, and exposure to HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems across hospitality, mixed-use, government, and MEP projects.

You will learn from senior engineers, support project execution within budgets, and collaborate with architects, project managers, and consultants to deliver high-performance, energy-efficient designs aligned with industry standards.

Qualifications

• BS in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent is required.
• Strong technical and analytical skills in thermodynamics, psychrometrics, heat transfer and fluid mechanics related to HVAC, plumbing and fire protection.
• Experience with industry standard engineering software and HVAC load calculation tools.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work in a team.
• Willingness to travel up to 5% and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Assist design and analysis of HVAC, plumbing and fire protection systems per codes and IMEG standards.
• Interact with clients to gather requirements and convey technical information.
• Build client relationships through professional communication.
• Support project execution within budgets with cross-functional teams.
• Help with project planning to meet deadlines; document design decisions.
• Analyze low to medium complexity tasks and propose practical solutions.
• Participate in IMEG quality control processes to meet standards.
• Stay updated on industry trends and contribute to R&D efforts.
• Collaborate with engineers, architects, and PMs to deliver integrated solutions.
