Job summary

IMEG Corporation is hiring an Electrical Engineering New Graduate to join our Seattle, WA or Portland, OR team. You will work with experienced engineers and consultants on hands-on design, analysis, and project execution with mentorship and structured training from day one.

You will assist in electrical systems design for buildings, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and contribute to energy-efficient, high-performance solutions aligned with industry standards.

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical Engineering required or equivalent.
• EIT or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Design and analyze electrical systems using engineering software to produce designs, specifications and calculations per code and IMEG standards.
• Interact with clients to understand needs and communicate technical information.
• Build and maintain client relationships through professional communication.
• Support project execution as part of a project team.
• Assist with project planning and scheduling to meet deadlines.
• Document design decisions and client instructions while tracking progress.
• Analyze low to medium complexity tasks and propose innovative solutions.
• Collaborate with senior engineers to develop practical solutions.
• Participate in IMEG quality control to meet standards and client requirements.
• Stay updated on industry trends and contribute to R&D efforts.
• Prioritize safety and identify potential risks in electrical systems.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated solutions.
