Qualifications

• Bachelor's or higher in Mechanical Engineering with 9+ years’ engineering experience; or Master’s with 7+ years; or PhD with 5+ years.
• U.S. Citizenship required and ability to obtain/maintain a U.S. government Secret clearance.
• Strong fundamentals in Design and Systems Engineering; experience leading teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide project and technical oversight of design activities for the group.
• Prepare cost estimates, review proposals for internal/external customers.
• Guide mechanical design and development of components and subsystems; support testing and delivery.
• Lead an integrated engineering team with clear direction and priorities.
• Manage timekeeping, performance reviews, staffing, and training for direct reports.
• Foster collaborative, inclusive environment with safety and continuous improvement.
