Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field with 9 years of engineering experience; OR a Master’s with 7 years; OR a PhD with 5 years.

Responsibilities

• Provide project and technical oversight of design activities performed by the group.
• Prepare cost estimates, provide proposal inputs, and review proposal content for internal/external customers.
• Guide mechanical design and development of fabricated and machined components and subsystems (electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic).
• Increase design engineering competencies through employee development and strategic hiring.
• Support test, qualification and delivery activities, including test plans/reports.
