Job summary

Acuity Inc. BUILD program offers a two-year rotational path that develops high-potential early career engineers into leaders. Participants rotate every six months across New Product Development, Sustaining, VAVE, and Manufacturing, gaining breadth plus leadership exposure.

Hybrid work in Decatur, GA, with possible rotations to Crawfordsville, IN and Des Plaines, IL. Employment starts July 12, 2027. Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor’s in Mechanical/ Electro-Mechanical fields, strong CAD experience

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Mechatronic fields; Master’s preferred.
• Strong understanding of mechanical & thermodynamic fundamentals.
• Experience with CAD design and prototyping.
• Clear communication and time-management skills.
• Willingness to travel up to 20% as needed.

Responsibilities

• Engage in mechanical engineering tasks across rotations.
• CAD design, prototype development, and validation.
• Certification testing and factory handoff activities.
• Support project management and cross-functional collaboration.
