Dover Precision Components is hiring a Mechanical Engineering Lead with design for product development experience for our FW Murphy Production Controls brand, located at our Rosenberg, TX facility. This role may also be based at our San Antonio, TX location for the right candidate. The Mechanical Engineering Lead is responsible for designing, developing, and improving mechanical systems and components used in FW Murphy’s industrial monitoring and control solutions. This role focuses on mechanical design with emphasis on throttle systems, combustion engine components, and integrated electromechanical products. The Mechanical Engineering Lead serves as the primary day‑to‑day engineering leader for mechanical design activities and provides technical directions to product design drafters. This position works closely with the Principal Design Engineer to translate product architecture into detailed designs and manufacturable solutions.
This role is expected to grow into a people‑leadership position responsible for managing the mechanical design and drafting team as the organization expands.
