Job summary

Syska Hennessy Group in San Diego, CA is seeking a Mechanical Engineering Summer Intern to support our engineering teams. The role focuses on learning through hands-on design work, site observations, and collaborative project involvement.

The candidate will gain experience with AutoCAD and Revit, perform basic calculations, and participate in the intern education program with lunch-and-learn sessions.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university in Mechanical engineering.
• Must be at a minimum completed your second year.
• Previous engineering internship or co-op experience is a plus.
• Knowledge of the latest version of MEP AutoCAD and REVIT is a plus.
• Basic knowledge in design and calculation software; MS Office Suite

Responsibilities

• Prepare AutoCAD and Revit drawings of Mechanical systems.
• Assist engineers with design calculations and sizing building Mechanical systems.
• Assist engineers with field investigations and construction site visits to observe.
• Attend intern education program lunch-and-learn sessions

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical engineering
