Job summary

Syska Hennessy Group is seeking a Mechanical Engineering Summer Intern for our Los Angeles, CA office. You will support engineering teams, learn from senior engineers, and contribute to design documentation and drawings using AutoCAD and Revit.

The role emphasizes teamwork, independent work when needed, and participation in our intern education program to accelerate professional growth and hands-on experience on real projects.

Qualifications

• The ideal candidate will enjoy a team environment and also flexible enough to work independently where needed.
• Candidates will be eager to expand their knowledge by challenging themselves and using the highly technical resources around them.

Responsibilities

• Assist engineers in preparing design documentation
• Prepare AutoCAD and Revit drawings of Mechanical systems
• Assist engineers with design calculations and sizing building Mechanical systems
• Assist engineers with field investigations and construction site visits to observe
• Attend intern education program lunch-and-learn sessions
