Job summary

Raytheon seeks a Mechanical Engineering Intern to join the Accelerated Learning & Rapid Prototyping team in TEWKSBURY. You will collaborate with engineers across disciplines to design, develop and generate rapid prototypes, support drawing generation and release, and contribute to hardware documentation.

The role involves hands-on training with RTX tools (CREO, PDM), polymer additive manufacturing, 3D laser scanning, and small unmanned aerial systems, with a focus on learning and meeting project

Qualifications

• Must be pursuing a Bachelor’s or graduate degree in Mechanical Engineering and be enrolled through completion of internship.
• Experience utilizing CAD tools such as CREO or equivalent.
• Experience developing and delivering presentations (verbal and/or written).

Responsibilities

• Interface and collaborate with engineers from all disciplines to contribute to design, development and generation of rapid prototypes.
• Execute as part of a small team during product development, drawing generation, drawing release and change incorporation.
• Engage in 3D laser scanning activities in support of hardware measurement, reverse engineering and 3D documentation.
