SharkNinja is seeking a Mechanical Engineering Intern in Needham, MA, to work on next-gen Ninja products from concept through testing and launch. You’ll prototype, test, and iterate with engineers, designers and product managers in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Enrollment in a related bachelor’s/master’s/PhD program or recent graduate.
• Available for full-time (40 hours/week) on-site in Needham, MA.
• Strong fundamentals in mechanical engineering and design.
• Experience with CAD, prototyping and lab testing is a plus.
• Ability to communicate clearly and work well in a team.

Responsibilities

• Support concepting, prototyping and testing of next-gen Ninja products.
• Collaborate with engineers, designers, and product managers to solve problems.
• Build and test prototypes and lab rigs to validate performance.
• Analyze testing data and feedback to inform design decisions.
• Participate in design reviews and document technical work.
• Assist with CAD modeling and documentation with engineers.
• Learn from failures and iterate on ideas to meet product goals.
• Contribute to materials, manufacturability and mass production considerations.
