SharkNinja in Needham, MA is hiring Mechanical Engineers to take the next generation of Shark and Ninja products from rough concept to retail shelf—fast, with your fingerprints all over them. You'll own design studies, move ideas from sketch to CAD to prototype, and partner with our UK and China Product Development teams to ensure production readiness.

This on-site role requires a degree in mechanical or related design engineering and 1–3 years of hands-on experience, with proficiency in

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Product Design Engineering, Industrial Design Engineering, or similar technical field.
• 1–3 years in mechanical, product, or industrial design.
• Proficiency in SolidWorks or Creo.
• Experience taking real products to market.
• Ability to identify, solve, implement, and verify technical solutions independently while working as part of a team.
• Comfort in a hands-on lab environment (training provided).

Responsibilities

• Own design studies that crack real technical and consumer problems — solo and alongside the team.
• Move an idea from sketch to CAD layout to 3D model to working prototype, fast, and use each step to prove or kill the concept.
• Carry designs through concept, CAD, prototyping, and verification.
• Apply rigorous engineering fundamentals so solutions hold up in the real world, not just on screen.
• Build and test prototypes in our on-site labs, then turn results into clear recommendations.
• Partner closely with our UK and China Product Development teams so good ideas survive the journey to production.
