SharkNinja is seeking a Mechanical Engineering Intern to work on next-generation home innovations from concept through testing and launch. Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a related bachelor's, master's, or PhD program, or graduated within the past year.
• Able to work full-time, 40 hours/week, onsite in Needham, MA.
• Strong mechanical engineering/physics fundamentals including thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, and mechanical design.
• Solid analytical and detail orientation with proactive problem-solving.
• Hands-on development mindset with ability to contribute to prototypes and testing.
• Able to communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical teammates.
• Familiarity with CAD tools and basic prototyping processes.
• Experience with basic lab equipment and electronic components is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to concepting and development of next-gen Ninja products with sketches and prototypes.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with engineers, designers, and PMs to explore solutions to real-world challenges.
• Build, test, and iterate prototypes and lab rigs; validate performance and usability.
• Analyze testing data and feedback to inform design decisions and improve function.
• Participate in design reviews and root-cause analyses to address challenges.
• Take ownership of engineering tasks with increasing complexity.
• Support CAD modeling and technical documentation alongside senior engineers.
• Learn from rapid iteration and contribute to bringing bold ideas to life.
