Job summary

Jacobs is seeking Mechanical Engineering Interns to contribute to building/facility mechanical systems in our Pittsburgh, PA and Albany, NY offices. You will work with engineers and designers, gaining experience in project coordination, CAD software, data collection, and more while supporting critical projects.

You will be pursuing a BS in Mechanical Engineering and must have strong communication skills. This in-person role requires local residence or relocation within ~50 miles of the site,

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
• This position is considered in-person and requires you to report regularly to a project site, because of this candidates are required to live locally or relocate to the local area (ideally within approximately 50 miles of site)

Here’s what you’ll need

• In pursuit of a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited program

Ideally, you’ll also have

• 3.0 GPA
• Previous relevant internship experience
• Must be at least a rising Junior (currently completing Sophomore year)
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD and MicroStation
• Ability to work in the US without sponsorship, now or in the future

The base salary range for this position is $47,300.00 to $66,000.00; though will be paid hourly based on hours worked. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
