Job summary

KION Group AG is seeking a mechanical engineering student to assist in modernizing and upgrading existing material handling systems. The role involves site data collection, supporting mechanical upgrades, and producing detailed layouts and documentation.

You will also create purchase requests and support estimating, sales, and engineering teams while collaborating with field operations. The position emphasizes problem solving, effective communication, and teamwork within a dynamic, global supply

Qualifications

• Pursuing a 4-year degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Ability to learn to maintain and repair material handling systems.
• Familiarization with CAD design software including AutoCAD.
• Ability to solve complex design issues and implement effective and cost-efficient solutions.
• Proven communications skills, flexibility and willingness to work as part of a team.

What We are Looking For:

Candidates must be pursuing a 4-year degree in Mechanical Engineering Ability to learn to maintain and repair material handling systems Knowledge of CAD design software including AutoCAD Familiarization with Computer Systems and Technologies. Ability to solve complex design issues and implement effective and cost-efficient solutions. Proven communications skills, flexibility and willingness to work as part of a team of solution-oriented professionals.

The base pay range for this role is estimated to be $20.00 - $29.00 per hour at the time of posting. Final compensation will be determined by various factors such as work location, education, experience, knowledge, and skills.
