Job summary

Dematic is seeking a Mechanical Engineering Co-Op to learn the various areas of Mechanical Engineering within the Dematic Organization, and in support of customer projects. Responsibilities include supporting modernization and upgrades on existing material handling systems, performing site audits, installation support for mechanical upgrades, and providing layouts and documentation.

You will also create purchase requests and enter parts orders, while offering technical support to estimating,

Qualifications

• Pursuing a 4-year degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Ability to learn to maintain and repair material handling systems.
• Knowledge of CAD design software including AutoCAD.
• Familiarization with Computer Systems and Technologies.
• Ability to solve complex design issues and implement effective and cost-efficient solutions.
• Proven communications skills, flexibility and willingness to work as part of a team of solution-oriented professionals.

Responsibilities

The base pay range for this role is estimated to be $20.00 - $29.00 per hour at the time of posting.

Final compensation will be determined by various factors such as work location, education, experience, knowledge, and skills.
