Job summary

Oshkosh Delivery in the United States is seeking a Mechanical Engineer Intern to support the Design Engineering team and manufacturing operations. You will assist with production readiness activities, engineering investigations, and corrective actions under the guidance of senior engineers.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Completed at least sophomore year coursework.
• GPA preferred (3.0+).
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Assist with design support activities in production operations.
• Support communications between Product Design and Operations teams.
• Assist with torque studies and related testing activities.
• Support root cause analysis of production issues under supervision.
• Help document corrective actions with cross-functional teams.
• Participate in production trials of new designs and design changes.
• Perform calculations, analysis, and research under supervision.
