Job summary

HDR is seeking a Mechanical Engineering Intern to gain real-world experience while supporting project work across building mechanical systems. You will collaborate with mentors and engineers, applying standard techniques under supervision, and contribute to design tasks in a dynamic, employee-owned team.

The role requires enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate engineering program, strong problem-solving and communication skills, basic Microsoft Office proficiency, and a commitment to HDR's

In the role of Mechanical Engineering Intern, we'll count on you to:

  • Perform other duties as needed
Preferred Qualifications
  • Prefer 2 years completed toward degree with 3.0+ GPA
  • Experience with REVIT building information modeling software
  • Demonstrated knowledge of software packages related to field of study/industry
  • Preference given to local candidates
Required Qualifications
  • Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate Engineering program
  • Possess strong problem-solving and communication skills
  • Basic Microsoft Office skills
  • An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must
