Qualifications

• Education: Current student in a related bachelor’s or master’s or PhD program or has graduated from such a program within the past year.
• Must be able to work a full‑time, 40‑hour‑per‑week schedule with 5 days per week onsite in Needham, MA
• Strong understanding of mechanical engineering/physics fundamentals including thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, and mechanical design.
• Hands‑on development and testing workstreams with problem solving and prototyping.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to concepting and development of next‑gen products by brainstorming, sketching, and prototyping bold ideas.
• Collaborate cross‑functionally with engineers, designers, and product managers to solve real‑world consumer challenges.
• Build, test, and iterate prototypes and lab rigs while validating performance, usability, and reliability.
• Analyze test data and consumer feedback to inform design decisions and optimize functionality.
• Take ownership of engineering tasks with increasing complexity and exposure to materials and manufacturing.
