Job summary

SEW-EURODRIVE is seeking an engineering student to join the Troy, OH facility and support the engineering group on improvement projects for technical, sales, and shop staff.

The role requires enrollment in a Bachelor's Engineering program and offers a pay rate of $22.00 per hour on the 1st shift, with a 10% premium for 2nd/3rd shifts where applicable. Benefits are provided from Day One, including medical, life, disability, PTO, and more.

Qualifications

• Eligible to work in the United States on an ongoing basis.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with interruptions.
• Strong oral and written communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to organize workload for timely completion of tasks.
• Ability to log, analyze and interpret data to propose improvements.

Responsibilities

• Document and support engineering projects using Microsoft Office tools.
• Create CAD drawings for parts design or shop tools (SolidWorks/AutoCAD).
• Interact professionally with office and shop personnel.
• Troubleshoot and solve problems as they arise.
• Develop understanding of SEW products and applications.
