Job summary

Northrop Grumman in Annapolis, MD is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join the Naval and Oceanic Systems team. The role focuses on undersea hardware, concept development, and rigorous problem solving in a collaborative environment.

The candidate should have a BS in Engineering and 2+ years of related experience, proficiency with NX/Teamcenter, and be eligible for TS/SCI clearance with polygraph. On-site work is required at the Annapolis campus.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Aerospace, Ocean Engineering or equivalent STEM) and a minimum of 2 years of experience.
• On-site work at Annapolis, MD campus.
• US citizen with ability to obtain TS/SCI clearance and pass a polygraph.
• Proficiency in using engineering design, production, analysis, and office tools.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Concept development, problem solving, technical planning, design development, analysis and integration & testing of undersea hardware.
• Collaborate and prioritize tasking in a dynamic team environment and meet project requirements.
• Develop engineering solutions that meet project requirements and deliverables.
• Experience in hardware design, design for manufacturing practices, and documentation.
