Leoforce is seeking a Mechanical Project Engineer in New York to lead the design and management of mechanical systems for construction projects. The candidate will utilize AutoCAD and Revit, ensure codes compliance, and manage projects from inception to completion within budget.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years of HVAC experience, knowledge of NYC codes, and a passion for sustainable building practices, with PE licensure preferred and LEED exposure a plus. Hybrid work arrangements offered.

Formación

• BS/MS in Mechanical Engineering required.
• 2+ years of HVAC engineering experience.
• Good working knowledge of IMC, IECC and NYC Building Codes.
• Ability to perform Energy Modeling using TRACE, eQUEST or other programs a plus.
• Good understanding of ASHRAE Standards, especially 55, 90.1 & 62.1.
• Experience in projects with sustainable solutions and LEED certifications a plus.
• PE license required.
• Strong REVIT MEP skills a plus; AutoCAD skills required.
• Strong communicator with the ability to interact with a variety of clients.

We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Mechanical Project Engineer to join our growing team! This position offers the opportunity to work on a variety of challenging and innovative projects, utilizing your skills in Mechanical/HVAC Engineering, AutoCAD, Revit, and more. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of building codes and will have had hands-on experience with MEP projects. As a key member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in the design and management of various projects, ensuring the highest levels of quality and efficiency.
