HART Technologies, Inc. is seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer to join our tactical systems development team at NSWCDD in Dahlgren, VA.
You will independently perform mechanical modeling, analysis, and drawings to support a tactical weapon control system. Responsibilities include enclosure design, FEA/CFD analysis, and collaboration with electrical and systems teams to ensure thermal management, EMI shielding, and manufacturability.
HART Technologies, Inc. is looking for an experienced Mechanical Engineer to join our tactical systems development team at the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD).
The successful candidate should be able to independently complete mechanical modeling, analysis, and technical drawings with a high degree of accuracy supporting our Battle Management Systems (BMS) team. The candidate will be expected to apply robust mechanical engineering processes in a "hands-on" environment, working closely with the customer and end-users to develop hardware associated with a tactical weapon control system. This position will interface with other engineering functional areas (i.e. electrical engineering, system engineering, software development, system test, configuration management, and safety) and technical personnel from various external organizations to clarify program intent, identify problems, suggest changes, and develop and document final solutions. As part of the development lifecycle process, this position will participate in the installation, integration, and testing of the developed hardware both at NSWCDD and on occasion at other DoD locations working very closely with stakeholders, customers, flight personnel, and end users.
