Job summary

HART Technologies, Inc. is seeking an Engineer for a mechanical/electrical opening in Manassas, VA, supporting DoD projects. The role involves design, integration, testing, and documentation within a fast-paced, mission-oriented team environment.

The candidate will develop 3D CAD models using SolidWorks/Creo, update system drawings, support hands-on test activities, and supervise technicians. A DoD clearance or eligibility is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field; equivalent experience considered.
• 0–10 years of engineering experience.
• Proficiency with 3D modeling/design tools: SolidWorks, Inventor, Creo, Altium.
• US citizenship and ability to obtain a DoD security clearance.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio).

Responsibilities

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Work as part of a multidisciplinary team of Engineers to deliver integrated products and services including: design and development along with integration, test and delivery, and creation of technical documentation.

Specific tasks include:

• Develop 3D CAD models and drawings of complex assemblies using SolidWorks and/or Creo.
• Develop and update system diagrams, assembly, subassembly and part drawings.
• Support hands-on integration and test activities.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Required:

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Mechanical Engineering or related field. Equivalent experience will be considered in lieu of degree.
• 0-10 Years Experience in the field of Engineering.
• Proficiency with 3D Modeling / Design tools (e.g. Solid Works, Inventor, Creo, Altium).
• US citizenship and the ability to obtain a DoD security clearance.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio).

Desired:

• Familiarity with DoD Technical Data Package contents, interpretation, and implementation
• Current active DoD security clearance
