Safariland is seeking an experienced engineer with strong project management and leadership skills to guide multi-disciplinary teams in delivering complex engineering projects from conception through installation. The role focuses on coordinating design, production, testing, and documentation while adhering to quality and safety standards.

Qualifications

• BS in engineering or related technical field required.
• 5+ years of engineering experience in relevant field.
• 3+ years of project management experience.
• Knowledge of CAD systems including AutoCAD and SOLIDWORKS.
• Microsoft Office and Project tracking experience.
• Able to function in a dynamic fast-moving environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide project management for assigned customers and projects.
• Develop quotes and technical proposals.
• Coordinate engineering and production documentation.
• Review drawings/instructions to determine test specifications and solutions.
• Mentor team members and manage direct reports (3-8).
• Define, implement, and monitor KPIs for engineering health.
• Maintain safe and clean working environment and compliance.
