Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Mechanical Engineer - Process Systems for our innovative fusion-focused technology company in Wisconsin. You will prepare design packages, specifications, drawings, test plans and calculations for systems such as off-gas processing, uranium handling and waste processing.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering and 5+ years of experience in tank and piping design, with familiarity in ASME B31.3 and NFPA 801.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering required.
• 5+ years of mechanical engineering experience with tank and piping design preferred.
• Knowledge of ASME B31.3 and related piping standards is required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and issue design packages, specifications, drawings, test plans, calculations and reports for process systems.
• Develop quality classification forms for complex systems such as off-gas, uranium handling and waste processing.
• Design liquid tanks, support structures, piping and valve interconnections.
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure compliance with codes and project timelines.

We are currently on the search for a Mechanical Engineer - Process Systems to join our team. You will be responsible for preparing and issuing design packages, specifications, drawings, test plans, calculations, reports, and quality classification forms for systems such as:

• Off-gas processing systems
• Uranium handling systems
• Waste processing systems
• Liquid tanks, support structures, and interconnecting piping and valves

Job Details

As a Mechanical Engineer - Process Systems on our team, we are looking for the following experience:

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering
• 5+ years of experience in mechanical engineering - specific experience in tank and piping design strongly preferred
• Knowledge of ASME B31.3 Process Piping Code and ASME Tank design
• Experience with AutoCAD Plant 3-D, SolidWorks, AutoPipe
• Experience with fire protection including NFPA 801 is a plus
