Job summary

Shuttleworth, part of ProMach, in Huntington, Indiana, seeks a Mechanical Engineer to join the Engineering Team. You will drive design from concept through production for conveyor and packaging systems.

The role requires a BS in mechanical engineering with 5+ years of experience, proficiency in AutoCAD 2D/3D and Inventor, and up to 5% travel. You’ll collaborate across departments to deliver innovative, reliable machinery and support ongoing product development.

Qualifications

• BS in mechanical engineering or equivalent with 5+ years of experience.
• Knowledge of packaging machinery, conveyors, and manufacturing processes preferred.
• Some travel up to 5%.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and detail specialized conveyor systems, meeting customer requirements and defined schedule.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to complete high-quality projects.
• Create custom machine designs for unique consumer products.
• Lead design reviews and evaluate peer designs for improvement.
• Produce accurate, scalable drawings and BOMs for fabrication.
