Job summary

ProMach, Inc. is seeking a Mechanical Engineer in Huntington, Indiana to design, develop, and detail conveyor systems and electromechanical products from inception through production. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, lead design reviews, and create detailed drawings for fabrication and assembly.

The role emphasizes mechanical design and system integration, with opportunities to contribute to R&D and new product development within a growing, global packaging solutions provider.

Qualifications

• BS in mechanical field with 5+ years experience or 8+ years related experience
• Knowledge of packaging machinery, conveyors and manufacturing processes is preferred
• Some travel is required, up to 5%

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and detail specialized conveyor systems using standard and custom components to meet customer requirements and schedules.
• Collaborate with the Mechanical department and other teams to complete high-quality projects.
• Create custom machine designs for unique consumer products and solve challenging problems.
• Lead design reviews and evaluate peer designs for improvements.
• Produce detailed drawings for fabrication and assembly, including BOM creation in ERP.
