Job summary

Shuttleworth (A ProMach Company) in Huntington, IN is seeking an experienced Packaging Machine Assembler to build conveyor systems and equipment from engineering drawings, often taking on leadership responsibilities.

You will assemble components, perform basic wiring, troubleshoot, mentor teammates, and help keep projects on schedule while upholding ProMach quality standards. A high school diploma or GED and 2–3 years of maintenance/automation experience are required.

Qualifications

• Read blueprints, instructions and schematics.
• Strong problem-solving and attention to detail.
• Able to read engineering drawings and work instructions.
• Lead small teams when needed and work independently.
• Overtime as required.

Responsibilities

• Assemble conveyor systems and components using drawings and work instructions.
• Build a variety of components and fully integrated systems.
• Perform basic wiring using electrical schematics.
• Troubleshoot issues and suggest improvements.
• Train and mentor other team members.
• Keep work area organized and meet project milestones.
• Partner with Engineering on prototype builds and testing.
• Promote continuous improvement and safety.
