Job summary

ProMach, Inc. is seeking a Controls Engineer based in Huntington, IN to design, develop and test electrical control systems for our Shuttleworth line. You will create panels, write PLC and HMI programs, and work with a cross-functional team to deliver reliable automation solutions.

Ideal candidates have a BS/AS in electrical engineering or related field and 5+ years of controls experience, with strong Rockwell and AutoCAD Electrical skills. Travel to customer sites is anticipated.

Qualifications

BS or AAS in Electrical Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience.
5+ years of relevant controls engineering experience.
Ability to travel 10-30%.
Strong written and verbal communication and teamwork skills.
Proficiency with Rockwell Automation PLCs, HMIs, and automation hardware.

Responsibilities

Design, develop and test electrical control systems for new products and redesigns.
Create and update electrical schematics and panels using AutoCAD Electrical.
Develop PLC, servo, and HMI software to meet system requirements and ensure proper operation.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to complete projects on time and within budget.
Support installation, startup and field service for customer sites.
