CITGO Petroleum Corporation invites applications for an engineering intern position within our Terminals & Pipelines Operations, Asset Integrity, and related engineering groups. The role focuses on assisting with project scopes, documentation reviews, and maintaining engineering records under supervision.

Ideal candidates are engineering students (Sophomore–Senior) with a minimum 3.0 GPA, seeking hands-on experience in gear, piping, and equipment reliability activities while learning CITGO

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in an accredited engineering program with a Sophomore, Junior, or Senior classification.
• Must have a minimum 3.0 GPA.
• High School Diploma required.

Responsibilities

• Generate discipline-related work scopes and complete project documentation updates/review.
• Familiarize with CITGO Engineering practices by editing the engineering training manual and apply as necessary to perform assigned work tasks.
• Assist with the update/creation of equipment reliability and integrity plans.
• Review existing engineering documentation for completeness and consistency with current policies and procedures.
