Job summary

CITGO Petroleum Corporation in Corpus Christi, TX, seeks engineering student interns to support project engineering activities across mechanical, civil, petroleum, chemical and electrical disciplines.

You will assist with scope development, document reviews (P&IDs, drawings, specs), and coordination with senior engineers to update CITGO specifications for Terminals & Pipelines Operations and asset integrity.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in an accredited engineering program as a Sophomore, Junior, or Senior.
• Must have a minimum 3.0 GPA.

Responsibilities

• Generate discipline-related work scopes and support project documentation updates/reviews.
• Familiarize with CITGO engineering practices and update the engineering training manual as needed.
• Assist with updates/creation of equipment reliability and integrity plans.
• Review existing engineering documentation for completeness and consistency with policies and procedures.
• Consult with Senior Project Engineers and Managers; participate in site visits to support projects.
• Coordinate with managers and engineers to scope/verify projects during site visits.
