Job summary

CITGO Petroleum Corporation is seeking engineering-oriented students to assist in project engineering activities across mechanical, civil, petroleum, chemical, and electrical disciplines at our Corpus Christi, TX operations. You will participate in preparing scopes, reviewing drawings, and supporting reliability and integrity initiatives.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma is required.
• Must be enrolled in an accredited engineering program with Sophomore, Junior, or Senior classification.
• Must have a minimum 3.0 GPA.

Responsibilities

• Generate discipline-related work scopes and complete project documentation updates/review.
• Familiarize with CITGO Engineering practices by editing the engineering training manual and apply as necessary to perform assigned work tasks.
• Assist with the update/creation of equipment reliability and integrity plans.
• Review existing engineering documentation for completeness and consistency with current policies and procedures.
• Consult with Senior Project Engineers and Managers in the group, and complete site visits in support of ongoing engineering efforts.

Education
