Qualifications

• Enrollment in ABET-accredited mechanical or chemical engineering program.
• No experience required for internship.
• Must be able to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements (background check, drug screen, MVR).

Responsibilities

• Develop, evaluate, and design specifications and contract drawings.
• Involves the design of HVAC, Plumbing, Fire Protection, standby power, flood control systems, and other specialties.
• Perform a variety of tasks to support engineering analyses, report production, and designs.
• Prepare basic calculations.
• Assist in basic equipment selection.
• Coordinate with other disciplines.
• Schedule project deliverables.
• Collect, organize, and evaluate data.
• Analyze systems using computer modeling.
