Job summary

Wabtec in Wisconsin is seeking a Mechanical Engineer Intern in Production Operations to support the design, development, testing, prototyping and release of mechanical hardware for Nordco equipment.

Under the Engineering Manager, you will gain hands-on experience with design, data analysis, and collaboration across departments while learning through mentorship in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering with a GPA of 3.0+.
• Experience with design software, Creo preferred.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs.

Responsibilities

• Assist in design and development of equipment and related components.
• Use Creo to complete design improvement and corrective action projects.
• Update product models and drawings for various projects in the Engineering Department.
• Work with Engineering to support Production and other manufacturing initiatives.
• Develop or maintain spreadsheets, databases, documents, and communicate with departments.
• Acquire, plot, and analyze data with mentor assistance.
• Build relationships within the organization to complete tasks.
• Other duties as assigned.
