Job summary

Enerpac is seeking a Mechanical Engineer Intern in Wisconsin to assist in developing next‑generation industrial tools. You will work with the Engineering team on mechanical and hydraulic systems, contribute to design reviews, and help build and test prototypes to verify performance.

The role involves VOC collection during customer visits, collaboration with global teams, and creating technical drawings for prototypes, preparing you for future NPD projects.

Qualifications

• Full‑time student enrolled in a mechanical engineering program.
• Strong problem‑solving skills to be applied to a variety of situations.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate and work with a team.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the design of mechanical and hydraulics systems to meet specifications.
• Support Product Management and Design & Innovation on VOC collection and marketing requests.
• Participate in Design Reviews, DFMEA, SFMEA, Risk Analysis, DVP&R.
• Design, build, and test prototypes to prove feasibility and robustness.
• Develop, author, and analyze test requests to verify performance and durability.
• Assist in Advanced Engineering Technology development for future NPD projects.
• Collaborate with global teams on problem solving and insights from SMEs.
• Create technical drawings for prototype parts.
