Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering.
• 5+ years of related experience preferred.

• Proficiency with engineering design and analysis tools; standard software packages.

Responsibilities

• Apply engineering design process to develop conceptual and detailed product specifications by analyzing performance, requirements, materials, and costs.
• Use mathematical models to predict outcomes and validate results; establish validation and verification procedures.
• Provide technical information for reviews with product engineering teams and write procedures and reports.
• Contribute to milestones for projects, create diagrams, review drawings, define data interfaces, and manage data under cost and schedule constraints.
• Review specifications for clarity and conformity; apply problem-solving to resolve design issues and implement improvements.
• Share specialized knowledge with others; mentor new employees and support technology roadmaps.
• Support product strategy and technology roadmap development.
