Job summary

RTX in Tucson, AZ is seeking a Mechanical Engineer for the Test Equipment Engineering Directorate to design, develop, document, and maintain complex test environments for Raytheon effector products. The role is 100% onsite in Tucson and involves working with vibration, thermal, hydraulic, RF, and electro‑optical test systems.

The position requires a Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field and at least two years of mechanical design experience, CAD modeling (CREO/ProE), GD&T, and engineering drawings,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field.
• Two years of mechanical design and production support experience.
• Two years of experience with 3D CAD modeling (CREO/ProE).
• Knowledge of GD&T.
• Ability to obtain and maintain U.S. government security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain mechanical test systems for Raytheon products.
• Validate test solutions for high accuracy in production environments.
• Diagnose issues and propose design improvements.
