Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering required.
• Approximately 2 years of mechanical engineering experience in power generation, heavy industrial, or process facilities.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Support design and specification of mechanical systems for power generation and industrial facilities.
• Prepare equipment specifications, data sheets, and inquiry packages for pumps, heat exchangers, etc.
• Participate in equipment procurement activities, including bid evaluations and vendor document reviews.
• Review vendor drawings for compliance with project requirements and standards.
• Develop technical scopes of work, calculations, and design documentation.
• Coordinate with process, civil, structural, electrical, and instrumentation teams.
• Prepare and review engineering deliverables like layouts, P&IDs, and mechanical packages.
• Conduct site visits to verify conditions and support project development.
• Read and interpret drawings, specs, and vendor docs.
• Contribute to meeting schedules, budgets, and quality objectives under senior staff guidance.
