Job summary

Zachry Group in Omaha invites an experienced Electrical Engineer to lead design and execution on major power and industrial projects. You will guide a team of engineers and designers, develop schedules and budgets, review drawings, and ensure NEC/IEEE/NEMA compliance.

The role emphasizes field coordination, client meetings, and coordination with other disciplines. A Bachelor’s in electrical engineering and 4+ years’ design experience are required; SKM software and MS Office skills are preferred;

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from a 4 year ABET accredited college (required).
• Minimum of 4 years of electrical engineering design experience on Power and/or Industrial Projects.
• Working knowledge of the National Electrical Code, IEEE/ANSI Standards and NEMA Standards.
• Experience with Medium and Low Voltage Equipment and Cables.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of engineers and designers to complete assignments on projects.
• Coordinate design and engineering activities with other disciplines.
• Review project documents for conformity, quality, and code compliance.
• Develop schematics, wiring diagrams, and one-line diagrams.
• Provide field support including site verifications and on-site installation supervision.
