Job summary

Quanta Power Solutions seeks a Mechanical Engineer II to support design, analysis, and execution of mechanical systems for power generation, renewables, BESS, data centers, and industrial infrastructure projects.

The role requires independently performing engineering assignments, developing design deliverables, supporting procurement, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams through all EPC phases.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 3–5 years of mechanical engineering experience.
• Experience with power generation, industrial, utility, or EPC projects preferred.
• EIT certification preferred; PE licensure a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop mechanical systems for power generation, renewable energy, BESS, data center, and industrial projects.
• Prepare and review equipment layouts, GA drawings, P&IDs, and equipment data sheets.
• Perform engineering calculations and technical evaluations to validate design and performance.
• Support construction/packages through conceptual design to commissioning.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and support QA/QC.
