Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering required; mechanical/ aerospace preferred.
• 3+ years in component structural analysis or thermo-hydraulics.
• Proficiency in FEA tools and regulatory codes used for nuclear components.
• Ability to support plant refueling outages and time-sensitive work schedules.

Responsabilidades

• Perform design and analyses for repair, modification and qualification of components within the primary pressure boundary of Westinghouse nuclear plants.
• Use FEA and closed-form calculations; apply internal analysis codes to qualify designs.
• Coordinate with subsystem and manufacturing leads to integrate subsystems and resolve design issues.
• Identify technical risks and drive resolution; follow NRC/ASME codes and standards.
