Job summary

Westinghouse Electric Company is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to support Reactor Internals, reporting to the Manager, Reactor Vessel Internals Load Development & Analysis. The role is hybrid, requiring 2 days on-site at Cranberry Woods, PA, with relocation not provided.

The ideal candidate has a BS in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering, a 3.0+ GPA, and the ability to interpret design drawings and calculation summaries, plus developing design documentation for hardware.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical or aerospace engineering.
• Minimum 3.0 GPA.
• Ability to interpret design documents including drawings and calculation summaries.
• Capacity for conceptual design and development of design drawings.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for reactor vessel internals design and analysis.
• Perform analytical calculations (structural dynamic and thermal-hydraulic).
• Develop documentation for calculations and analyses.
• Create design documentation for safety and non-safety hardware.
• Interface with leads, PMs, and customers to coordinate work.
• Occasionally travel to customer sites for on-site support and issue resolution.
