Job summary

RTM Engineering Consultants, LLC is seeking a Mechanical Engineer with 3-5 years of experience to join our MEP team in Texas. You will design mechanical systems, prepare construction drawings, and support projects through construction.

You will work closely with clients and the design team, perform load calculations, select equipment, and contribute to QA/QC processes while adhering to building codes and standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in mechanical systems design.
• Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems.
• Knowledge of drafting standards and building codes; proficient with AutoCAD and Revit.

Responsibilities

• Manage project timelines and coordinate design activities between the design team and client.
• Produce mechanical design elements and HVAC construction documents.
• Perform load calculations and equipment selection.
• Coordinate with in-house and outside sources; support QA/QC throughout construction.
